where to find the cottage

The cottage is located in County Cavan, the "Lake County" in the North of the Irish Midlands.

Cavan is located on the main N3 Dublin - Donegal road and is a central point between Dublin, Belfast, Donegal, Galway and Sligo. The A3 and N3 major routes mean that Cavan is less than two hours from the ferry ports in Dublin, Dun Laoghaire and Belfast, and the airports of Belfast and Dublin.

Angling
The Lake Country offers a plentiful supply of fish and an abundance of enjoyment for fishermen of all ages and experience.

Hire a cruiser or a barge and take a leisurely sail down the renowned Shannon-Erne Waterway.

Cyclists will enjoy the Kingfisher Cycle Trail while walkers will delight in exploring The Cavan Way, The Burren or The Shannon Pot, the source of the River Shannon.
